Our foray into Defence started from our Manufacturing Plant in Nashik in 2016. Gradually, as the business grew, we commissioned a dedicated plant for the Defence Division in 2019. This dedicated setup was inaugurated by Mr. Jayant D. Patil, Wholetime Director and Senior EVP of the L&T Defence Division.

This plant is equipped with machinery of reputed make - VMCs from Haas and Robotic Welding Stations from OTC. The team is led by technical experts and supported by a highly-skilled workforce. Our robust quality management systems & strong customer focus have helped us to achieve a unique distinction of being the only manufacturer in India to successfully develop Integrated Mechanical Systems for Self-propelled Gun in the first attempt.
