The Die Shop at Chakan was established in 2007. The centre is led by proficient designers having hands-on experience in designing tools using software such as NX, Autodesk, Think3, Pro-E, CATIA. They are supported by a skilled workforce having expertise in FEA and Simulation Software such as Autoform, Ls-Dyna & Altair Hyperform.

Our Tryout shop houses an 800 Tonnes tryout press, moving bolsters, tonnage monitoring devices. The plant also has an inspection facility offering three-axes CMM and hardness and material property-testing equipment.

This Centre is equipped with VMCs of reputed make such as Hartford, Okuma, Nicolas Correa, etc. to manufacture dies for global OEMs.
